PRAISE
“Let the [Moroccan] nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth” (Psalm 67:4)
PRAY WITH CULTURAL INSIGHT
If you have heard of Morocco before, chances are you’re familiar with the region of Marrakesh/Safi. Marrakesh is the tourism capital of Morocco, and everyone who visits this nation wants the opportunity to see the iconic city that Hollywood made famous. But in believing circles in Morocco, Marrakesh is famous for another reason: it is the region with the highest concentration of believers. While this is a relative statistic, (Marrakesh is still 99.9% Muslim) our hearts rejoice to know there are brothers and sisters who gather together regularly in this region for ongoing development and discipleship. Marrakesh stands as a lighthouse in the nation to other regions struggling to see a way forward in the darkness. God has inspired a vision for multiplication among the believers in this city and is building the character and depth of faith they will need for that prayer to be answered.
As we pray for the region of Marrakesh/Safi, ask God to raise up leaders with hearts for collaboration, reproductivity, and discipleship. Ask that He develops in them the ability to stand up under persecution. Ask God to provide creative solutions to the unemployment problems the believers are encountering, and that they would depend on Him to meet their financial needs.
PRAY THE BOOK OF ACTS
“And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus.” (Acts 5:41)
Ask for the boldness of the Lord to equip believers throughout Morocco to testify convincingly of Your Kingdom using Moses and the Prophets as needed. Soften hearts throughout the land to believe in this glorious message!
PRAY FOR SATURATION
“Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown…But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” (Matthew 13: 8 and 23)
In order to see Gospel saturation across Morocco, we must pray for good soil to receive what was sown, reproducing itself and multiplying into a movement of disciples and churches across the Kingdom of Morocco. Pray for this kind of movement in Morocco.
