PRAISE
“You are the God of great wonders! You demonstrate Your awesome power among the nations.” (Psalm 77:14)
PRAY WITH CULTURAL INSIGHT
To have open access to a God whose presence is tangible to mankind is a foreign thought for Moroccan Muslims. Maybe that is why God often uses miracles to reveal himself to Muslims and break their skewed definition of Him as “too great to be near us”.
~ For Omar, it was while sitting alone in his dark bedroom, feeling the pull of his Islamic culture but unable to ignore all that he had been reading in the Bible he whispered, “Jesus, I want to believe in you…show me you’re here.” Suddenly a light filled his completely dark room along with a warm presence and peace.
~ For Fati, it was while she slept that a bright man in white came to her and simply said, “Don’t be afraid to follow me.”
~ For Ouimayma, her fears and hesitations were calmed in her journey to decide to follow Jesus when, in her dream, she simply saw a man in white smiling at her…and what a smile that was!
While we rejoice at the work of God’s glory at work as he calls Moroccans to himself, we are aware that a majority of the population has yet to encounter him and believe. As Ramadan continues and many continue their striving work for forgiveness, pray that the dwelling, residing, present God would powerfully plant His shekinah glory in the hearts of Moroccans!
PRAY THE BOOK OF ACTS
“And he (the Philippian jailer) took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he was baptized at once, he and all his family.” (Acts 16:33).
Just as you used miraculous events to reveal Yourself to the Philippian Jailor, we ask you to reveal Yourself to Moroccans in dreams and visions, miraculous healings, and deliverances; that they and their whole households might believe and know that You are real, nearby, and pursuing them personally.
PRAY FOR SATURATION
“Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” While Gospel saturation seems like an impossible result, Matthew 19:26 reminds us today that nothing is impossible with our God. It is His work as He brings His salvation to the Kingdom of Morocco. Use this photo to inspire faith-filled prayers for saturation.
WORSHIP
God, we worship You because You haven’t changed! You are the God we read about in the Bible, who does amazing things! And You do still…
