“Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.” Revelation 22:1-2

The Holy of Holies: the sacred place that represented God’s presence. No one was allowed entry, except the high priest. And even then, only once a year to offer the necessary sin sacrifices on behalf of the people. When Jesus said his last words, “It is finished” and gave up his spirit, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, removing man’s barrier to God’s holy presence. What a visual that was for what was being accomplished in the spiritual realm! A new covenant was now in place and this one meant that the Holy of Holies now entered us and any of God’s people could now meet Him face to face.

During Ramadan and any time of year, Moroccans rely on Imams and others in spiritual authority to know God. These men control the parameters of what they know about God. The idea that they can meet God face to face to see and discover Him for themselves is a very foreign idea for most of them.

Pray for those who are blind to this gift of knowing God face to face this Ramadan. Let’s pray that the Holy Spirit would be released to do His work: the work of giving sight to the blind and giving people the opportunity to know and discover Him face to face! After all, Jesus victoriously removed the barrier the moment he took his final breath on the cross!

“Proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.” (Acts 28:31)

Just as the story of Acts ended with Paul living this verse out, we pray all Believers in Morocco would proclaim our access to the Kingdom of God and teach about the Lord with all boldness and without hindrance until their last breath.

As many living across Morocco pray for Gospel saturation, the Holy Spirit gave a prophetic vision of countless waterfalls coming down from heaven falling at different points across Morocco, pooling, spreading and overflowing across the nation. Ezekiel 47:1-12 describes a vision of a river flowing with increasing measure from the temple (like that mentioned in Revelation 22) which brings life and healing. Wherever the river flows things are made alive and on the banks of the river there are fruit trees producing an abundance of fruit in every season.

Please use these passages and visual as you pray for the river from God’s throne to flow in Morocco!Pray for a river of living, healing waters to saturate this nation in increasing measure. Thank the Lord that it has begun to flow and we will see it come up to our knees, chests and then over our heads! Pray for salvation, new life, for each person the river touches. Pray for physical and emotional healing. Finally pray for lasting, abundant, and continual fruit!

God, we worship You because You have everything we need, and You give it to us in a free-flowing river…
